FURTHER ACTION.
I have etc. to acknowledge
the receipt of your despatch No. 387
of the 19th of June, 1935, forwarding
copies of three kesolutions regarding
Loan Works which were passed by the
Legislative Council on the 16th of
May, 1935, and to convey my approval
of the financial adjustments involved.
2.
As regards the increase from
$3,400,000 to $3,864,943 under Item 7
of the first kesolution, I should be
obliged if you would inform me, in due
course, how it came to be overlooked
that the proceeds of the sale of the
Inverterents on account - Surplus funds would
steek held in the Sinking Funds of the
Sterling Loan needed to be credited to
Investments when the Loan Ordinance
